Which file types can I upload? +
You can upload Word (.docx), plain text (.txt), and ChordPro (.pro and .cho) chord sheets. Drop several .docx files at once to build a single combined PDF binder.
Does uploading keep my document formatting? +
Yes. For .docx files only the chord names change — fonts, spacing, colours, tables, and the overall layout are preserved in the downloaded file.
Can I download the result as a PDF? +
Yes. Choose the PDF output option before transposing to get a ready-to-print PDF, or keep the editable file in its original format.
Are my uploaded files stored anywhere? +
No. Your chord sheet is processed to generate the transposed file and is not kept after the download is returned.
Do I have to upload a file to transpose chords? +
No. Uploading is only for downloading a transposed document. To transpose on screen, paste your chords into the instant transposer instead.
